Continuing Education Requirements for Real Estate Licenses in Rhode Island:
Each real estate licensee is required to complete a minimum of twelve (18) hours of continuing education every two year license renewal. Of the 18 hours of required continuing education, a minimum of six (6) hours must be obtained from core topics. The core topics are:
- Law of Agency
- Law of Contracts
- Fair Housing
- Lead Hazard Mitigation
- RI License Law and Ethics
Throughout the course, there are lessons quizzes that must be passed with 80%. The State of Rhode Island does NOT required an end-of-course exam for continuing education.
